ARYO’s instrument collection was a donation from a former strings program in Halifax. There was a percentage of instruments, mainly cellos, that would have needed major repairs and in June 2025 we decided to move these along by donating them to the Los Primos project, an organization that can rebuild old musical instruments to make them playable for students in Cuba. We are very happy to know that they will be able to reconstruct 8 cellos which will make their way to Havanna and Holguin in the fall!
