Outreach programs

ARYO can bring string instructors to your school or organization for introductory sessions on violin, viola and cello on a project basis or as part of your instrumental curriculum. Some general guidelines are below but we encourage you to contact us so we can design a workshop which fits for you.

Number of participants: generally up to about 12, mix of violin, viola and cello (double bass if available at the school)

Age of participants: middle school and up

Length of workshop: Typically a single introductory workshop would be 1-2 hours and a workshop over 3 sessions, 1 to 1 ½ hr each session.

Price: $50 per hour, with ARYO covering the remainder of the cost, although schools are encouraged to look into available funding opportunities.
